AN ABORTIVE MEETING
DRIVERS’ UNION AND EMPLOYERS. PZB PB2SS ASSOCIATION. DUNEDIN, May 30. The industrial dispute between the New Zealand Express Company and the Drivers’ lUnion was heard by the Conciliation Council with the understanding that any agreement was to he ratified for the Dominion. A lengthy sitting ended abortively with the employers’ offer of the current award rates, and the whole dispute was referred to the Arbitration Court.
