AFRAID OF POISONING
REFUSAL TO HANDLE WOOL. PEB PRESS ASSOCIATION. NAPIER, May 29. The watersidurs refused to accept work this morning loading 26,DU0 hales of Government wool which have been in store for several years. They contended that tho wool is dirty, and claimed 6d per hour extra. A compromise was effected by tho era, who offered to pay the difference between the Arbitration award ant the compensation for accident pay ment to all who suffer from poisoning as the result of handling the wool.
