On King’s Birthday (Saturday, June 3rd) the Post Office will be closed in ail its branches. Mails due to close on Saturday, June 3rd, will close at midnight on Friday, June 2nd. These mails will include correspondence cleared from the citv and suburban receivers at midnight on Friday, June 2nd. There will be no clearance of city and suburban receivers between midnight on Friday and. midnight on Sunday. There will be no delivery by nostmen on King’s Birthday, but on Friday, June 2nd, the Postmen's Branch (upstairs, entrance from Featherston street) will be open for delivery of correspondence addressed to streets in the city and suburbs from 8 to 9 p.m. The public delivery-counter will be similarly open for delivery of correspondence addressed to the Chief Post Office.
