The Bank of Npw Zealand, produce department, has received the following advice from its London office under date 26th inst.: Butter—Quiet; 160 s to 164 s per cwt. Cheese—Slow; coloured, 76s to ißos per cwt; white, 68» to 72s per owl. ( Weather is exceptionally warm and trade is slow all round. Beef shows no change. Wethers, light 7d to 8d per lb, heavy 6d to 63d ner lb; ewes, sid to 6id per lb; lambs, 101 d to 113 d per lb, seconds lOd to 10id per lb. WRIGHT. STEPHENSON AND CO. THE ANNUAL MEETING. The sixteenth annual meeting of the members of Wright, Stephenson and Co., Ltd., was held last week at Dunedin, in the presence of a large number of shareholders. The profit and loss account, including .125,705 Is 3d brought forward from last year, showed: a credit balance of .£51,096 12s lid. A dividend of 7 per cent, on the ordinary shares was declared, and the fixed payment to preference shareholders was adopted, leaving a balance of £17,298 5s lOd to be carried forward. Messrs R. S. Abraham, J. T. Martin, and J. T. P. Mitchell, the retiring directors. were reelected, and Messrs Barr, Leary and Co., auditors, were re-appoint-ed.
