FAULTY METHODS OF HANDLING. AUCKLAND, March 17. The two committees of the Auckland Chamber of Commerce which have in hand tlie .matter of handling of produce at tlie port of Auckland, were authorised by the council of that body to confer with the sub-committee appointed for the purpose by tho Auckland Farmers’ Union recently. Mr J. Boddio saidi ho had received from London a week ago confirmation of the statement that a very largo quantity of New Zealand frozen meat, butter, etc., was reaching tho Homo port in a most unsatisfactory condition.
