STRIKE EXTENDS
RAILWAY SITUATION IN GERMANY. A CABINET DISCUSSION. , BERLIN, February 6.. The Cabinet is discussing the railway situation with the political leaders and the railway unions. In the meantime the strike has extended to Meaklenburg, and the Enginedrivers’ Unions in Wurtemberg. Baden and Bavaria threaten to join (he strike unless the Government enters forthwith into* direct negotiations with • the Railway Workers’ Union. MOVEMENT MOT POPULAR STOPPAGE DESCRIBED AS CRIMINAL. (Received February 7, 8.10 p.m.) BERLIN, February 6. The strike is unpopular. Even workers describe the stoppage as criminal. The hospitals are without water or light.
