V Bishop Frodsham, preaching at the Labour Conference, said that daring the Great War industrial nations had learned lessone of unity, co-operation, and self-sacrifice. Why should the power which triumphed over competition in the war be found incapable of meeting competition in peaoe? The Conference's ideal was the maintenance of the synthesis of the economio interests of the world, nations, and all classes.
