STREET COLLISION
TRAMCAR DAMAGED. Shortly after 3 o’clock yesterday afternoon * when tramcar No. 109, in charge of Motorman P. Nixon was proceeding from the loop at Courtenay place to the terminus there, preparatory to leaving on tee journey to Karori, a motor-lorry belonging to tho Wellington South Firewood Company collided with it. The impact damaged some of the ironwork under tee teamcar, and the step; while the motorlorry had a mudguard doubled up. The accident delayed the traffic for a short time.
