"MILITARY BARRACKS?” The Scots College Cadets are looking forward with interest to the barracks which are to be held at the college during tho next four days. The work of the cadets is already of a high standard, an dtlie military discipline to which they will be subjected during the barracks will tend to increase materially the efficiency of tho company. The course of instruction, .as outlined by Captain Donaldson, N.Z.5.0., wlio is taking command, includes varied and interesting work in the three branches of piilitarv training—physical drill, musketry, and infantry drill. Jn the evenings a series of lectures will be delivered on can\p hygiene, etc. The aim of the barracks ia not only to increase the esprit de corps 60 essential to a cadet company, but also to impress the Ixjys with a truer idea of tho responsibilities of citizenship.
