ALEX. WATSON’S RECITALS
AN INTELLECTUAL TREAT. Like many other celebrities, I\lr Alexander Watson (who appears at the Concert Chamber next Saturday) came to the .platform from the commercial world. His experiences there gave him that insight into human nature which is reflected in all Ids work. Mr Watson began his business career in the office of a publisher, but, having a taste for acting and reciting, he frequently epent his evenings on the stage. At length his engagements became so numerous that he gave up routine business altogether. At the Steimvay Hall, London, he made his first appearance, and from that time he has never looked back. Many inquiries have been received as to whether Mr Watson ivill repeat the old favourites during liis present season. He nil], and, in addition, will give many new programmes. The box plans will be opened at the Bristol on Tuesday morning, August 2nd.
