DOMINION CONTROL. ANNUAL CONFERENCE! AT GREY- . MOUTH. FSB PRESS ASSOCIATION. GREYMOUTH, July 28. The aiiualj conference of the Dominion Boxing Association to-day dealt with numerous remits. It was resolved by 20 votes to 4 (the minority being the Canterbury delegates), that tho constitution of the council be altered to permit ol each, centre having direct representation on it. » It was recommended that the championships for 1022 be allotted to Auckland; also that the championships be held alternately in the North and South Islands, and that the 1923 championships be allotted to Dunedin. It was resolved that secondary schools boxing championships for the Dominion be instituted.

It was decided that all centres shall register their colours. Ashburton was constituted a centre, and several remits were referred to special committees.

A remit to bar military defaulters from competing or joining tho association was substantially defeated. It was decided, on a division that tho headquarters of the association remain at Christchurch. On a remit from the » Christchurch Sports Club regarding the definition, of “local association/' it was decided that a local association is a body that is granted legal recognition. The Christchurch delegates referred to the St. Patrick's Sports Association, and objected to there being- more than one promote irur body in each town.—lt was resolved that the conference is of opinion there should be onlv one promoting body in each town, and that the Minister for Internal Affairs be asked to gazette a re'gulatioir to that effect, under the Police' Offences Act.
