OPENING TO-MORROW NIGHT. To-morrow evening, at. 7.30, His Grace Archbishop O’Shea, will open in the Town Hall tho St. Mary’s Re-buildmg Bazaar. The Wellington public is now familiar with the new building, beautiful even ,in its unfinished state, that can bo glimpsed from the Manners and Willis streets intereeotion. When completed St. Mary's will! be one. of the finest -monuments of Gothic architecture in Australasia. This noble structure, involving the expenditure of upwards of £40,000. has a claim on all who have at heart the adorning and beautifying of our capital city of the Dominion. The bazaar promoters feel confident that their efforts to complete this magnificent edifice wili have the~genorons support of all classes. Splendid attractions have been provided for the amusement and entertaii’mcnt of patrons. Novel side-Bhows and numerous games of skill will bo in strong evidence to tempt the curious and tbs venturesome. Stalls, replete with a choice variety of dainty wares will gladden the eyes of tho fair sox. Graceful and artistic dancing by loading teacher* anc their talented pupils, bright and spi>rkling numbers by a first-cliass Pierrot trople and exi’edo.nl: music from Braund’s Elite Orchestra will provide a rai 3 feast of music, song, and diance. Yesterday’a returns in Die Queen Carnival confess have altered the positions of the candidates. Miss Ilfi Card, of the Wellington stall, who had a substantial lead yesterday, is deposed by Mies JVlary McEvedy, of tho Armagh stall. Votes are reckoned at 3d each.
