REGISTERING A GUN
A QUESTION OF LOCALITY. Per Press Association. WAIROA. Tulv 28. At the Magistrate’s Court to-day, Stanley Hutchinson, a storekeeper, of Moliaka, was charged with possessing an unregistered firearm. Defendant proved that he registered at Patutahi (Gisfiorne), and the prosecution proved that lie took the gun to Mohaka and, though advised to get his certificate endorsed, neglected to do so. The magistrate held that the gun was unregistered, and inflicted a fine of £5, with costs.
