The “Daily Chronicle” says that when tho Leafield power station is opened in the autumn tho Imperial wireless chain will be completed except at Cairo, where the buildings and apparatus are not ready. Leafield’s_capacity is estimated at seven_ million words yearly. When Cairo is opened Leafield will transmit to Australia, via Singapore and Port Darwin.
