The Far Eastern Republic has sent a not© to the Chinese Government stating that unless China takes steps to prevent Ungern and Sternberg’s forces, and similar hands, from using Chinese territory as a base of operations against China, the Government of the latter Will invade Mongolia and exterminate the bands itself.
. In view of the Chino-Japan military pact such an invasion would constitute an overt act against Japan.
