AMERICANS TOO GOOD FOR ENGLISHMEN; Australian and N.Z. Cable Association (Received July 20, 12.15 a.m.) NEW YORK, July 23. Alb Boston bile combined Harvard and Yale Universities team won eight out of ten events in an athletic meeting with the Cambridge and Oxford team, Riiidd (Oxford) won the 440 yards run and Stallard (Cambridge) the one mile. The Americans won the 100 yards, the 120 hurdles, the 880 yards; the two miles, the high jump, the broad jump, putting tile shot, and throwing tho haminer. Harvard won five events. Ned .Courdin (Harvard’s negro athlete) set a new world’s record for a running broad jump with 25ft 3in.
