A SERIES OF ACCIDENTS. nerrofls admitted to hospitau A man named Thomas Benson, single, 39 years of age, and residing at South street, Petone, was admitted the hospital <at 7 p.m. on Satuday suffering from slight injuries to the bead, caused by a fail -from a tium at Island Bay. S(Ts condition had Improved yesterday. A CHILD INJURED. Whilst playing in a motor-car 4& Johnsonvilie on Saturday afternoon, a little boy named -Thomas Lane Wilson, seven years of age, and residing with his parents at the Main road, Johnsonvolie, fell from the vehicle and sustained a slight concussion of the brain. He was admitted to the Wellington Hospital at 8.30 p.m. for treatment, and on inquiry being made last night he was reported to be doing as. well as could be expected. ACCIDENT IN GORGE. An accident—the particulars of win ah have not been fully ascertained —occurred in the Ngahanranga Gorge on Saturday, when a woman, believed to be Mrs Smith, 40 years of age. sustained a concussion, by falling from, or beang ran over by, a motor-oar. She was conveyed to a private* house on the Gorge and attended to by Dr. Wright, of Johnsonville. Later, the roman was admitted to the hospital at Wellington from where it was reported that she had not regained last night. MOTOR-LORRY CAPSIZES. When coming from the direction of Feathers ton on Saturday a mOtor-lonry, containing several passengers, capsized whilst crossing the Rimutaka range. All escaped injury with the exception of a young man named Moore, 22 years of age, residing at TnmbaU street, who had his foot jammed. He was conveyed trom his home on Sunday to the hospital, where it was found that the bones of the foot had been badly crushed, and an operation was performed.
