He was admitted to the Wellington Hospital at 8.30 p.m. for treatment, and on inquiry being made last night he was reported to be doing as. well as could be expected. ACCIDENT IN GORGE. All escaped injury with the exception of a young man named Moore, 22 years of age, residing at TnmbaU street, who had his foot jammed. He was conveyed trom his home on Sunday to the hospital, where it was found that the bones of the foot had been badly crushed, and an operation was performed.
