THE PALOONA. The Union Company advise that their intercolonial passenger steamer Paloona will arrive at Wellngton on Thursday from Melbourne via Bluff, Dunedin and Lyttelton. The vessel is to leave here on Friday for Melbourne. WAIRUNA FROM 'FRISCO. A Press Association message reports that the Wairuna has left San Francisco cargodaden for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton. Dunedin, Melbourne and Sydney. THE PORT KEMBLA. The C. and D. Line steamer Port Kembla is to sail from Wellington r-t daybreak to-morrow for London via Panama. Th© Canadian Planter is to leave Wellington at noon to-morrow for Lyttelton, from which port she is to eail on Friday for New York and Montreal via Panama. RUAHINE ARRIVES TO-MORROW. The New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Ruahine left Auckland at 3.15 p.m. yesterday for Wellington in continuation of her voyage from London and Southampton. The vessel will arrive here to-morrow afternoon to complete discharge at this port. • SAILER OFF THE HEADS. A sailing vessel, believed to bo the full-rigged ship Vercingotojax. which left Papeete on June 9th for Wellington, signalled for a pilot off the heads early last evening. The tug Karaka left the wharf about 8 p.m. with a pilot aboard, but as there whs a strong southerly, with a considerable sea, the tug put back, arriving at the wharf at midnight. The larger tug Pelican left the wharf with the pilot about 1.39 o'clock this morning.
