Piecegoode merchants, at the invitation of Ghandi, met to discuss whether thev are prepared to take a vow to . ddal in Indian-made piece goods only, and to abstain from ordering piece- ' goods from foreign countries. As the result, of the meeting, up to the present, six only out of forty merchants have taken the vow. The -others have not yet decided.
