Thwo unfavourable -weather again militated against the refloating of the auxiliary scow Magic, -near Pencarrow head, yesterday. The initial sale of Shorland and Perkins. latd.. who have taken over the business premises of Messrs J. O. Shorland and Co., motor cycle agents, for the purpose of opening a general auction mart and land and estate agency, was held in their premises at 122, Cuba street; yesterday afternoon. A varied assortment of motor accessories realised good prices, and two cycles—a Reading Standard and a Don via s—were well competed for.
