% . MEETING OF EXECUTIVE,. BUSINESS' DONE AT WEEKLY FIXTURE. The executive of the • Wellington Football Association met last evening. There wei'o present Messrs W. Auld (in the chair), R. Hendry, C. vWebster, H- L. Godber, P. Banks, H. Yeoman, and A. Williams. jit was decided to cancel the match with Canterburv which was to have been played on June 3rd. Instead, the fixture committee will be asked to arrange matches between local teams. It was resolved to send a senior team fo Palmerston North on June 3rd. “The composition of the team is to be decided later. The Rovers Association were granted permission to send a team to Blenheim on May 23rd and one to Martinborough on June 3rd. The secretary was instructed to point out to club® "that capitation fees are due by July Ist and that those in arrears are liable to he dealt with drastically by the association. A request -was received from the Rugby League for the use of the ground at the stop-hank, Pctone. It was resolved to replv that fho ground would he in use for -soccer. > The Wellington Schools’ Football Association wrote complaining of the executive transacting business that should he left to the Schools' Association. The chairman said the complaint was justified and that the committee had done the work inadvertently. Every member of the executive was to blame. The Waterside dub again brought uo the question of their colours. Originally the. .club wonted to plav i,n black and white, hut as these were Karori’s colours the executive did not. agree to the propnss]. The Watersider’s then suggested black and white- with a red sash, and to this the executive agreed.
