NON-UNION LABOUR
EMPLOYMENT CAUSES STRIKE IN BUENOS AIRES. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received May 10. 10.10 p.m.) BUENOS AIRES, May 9. The port worker# struck to-day and will remain idle until they are assured that non-union labour will not be permitted to work. Tlie Government ha* placed a military cordon around the port zone, permitting no one to enter. The employers will not abandon their efforts to use non-union labour. The fight is against foreign interests, which complain of unbearable imposition end abuse* in connection with the loading of ships.
