THE BONUS QUESTION

PRESENT POSITION INDEFINITE. ANNOUNCEMENT IN FEW DAYSBefore the Arbitration Court rose yesterday, (Mr J. Read said he presumed that the court would hear applications for the bonus. They had to consider quite a number of things, and were having a difficult task to go into everything. They hoped, however; to make a definite announcement in the course of the next few days.
