BOWLING CENTRE
MEETING OF EXECUTIVE
A meeting of the management committee of the Wellington Bowling Centre was 'held last evening. Mr F. Meadorvcroft, the president, was in the chair. There was a representative attendance of delegates. It was reported that the Junior Pennants had been won, for the season, by the Lyall Bay Club, and the Junior Stars by the Central Club, Petone. The Tipper Hutt Bowling Club for'warded its affiliation fees to the centre, and in consequence it was decided to take no further action in regard to -.emovinv the namo of the club from the list of affiliated clubs. The treasurer H. Morrah) submitted the balance-sheet for the year, which opened with a credit balance of £45 13s sd, and closed with a credit balance of £9 12s lOd.. The receipts for the season amounted to £ll2 14s Bd, and the. expenditure to £lO3 Is lOd. It was explained that on account of the annual centre tournament not having been held this season the credit balance was reduced/ .
