STATISTICS OF ENLISTMENTS AND LOSSES. • Australian and N.Z. Cable Association LONDON, May 6. An official return shows that 9,500,000 men enlisted in the British Army during th© war, and the total casualties were 3,280j362. Enlistments in the British Isles totalled 6,211,427, and the casualties were: Deaths, 743,702: wounded, 1 : - 693.262; prisoners, 176,’305. The figures for the oversea Dominions were:— Canada—Enlistments, 683,170; deaths, j wounded, -149,732; prisoners, Australia ■ — Enlistments, 413,453; deaths, 59,330; wounded, 152,172; prisoners, 4084. New Zealand—Enlistments, 227,325 ; deaths, 16,136; wounded, 40,729; prisoners. 602.
