PRIMARY SCHOOL UNION. ANNUAL MEETING. I At the annual meeting of the Wellington Primary .Schools Rugby Union there was a full attendance of ever twenty members, Mr F. A. Hempleman in the chair. Election of officers resulted as follows : —President, F. A. Hempleman; vice-pre-sident, A. East; hon, sec. and treasurer, E- C. Felthnm; hon. auditor, F. Pottinger; management committee, Messrs J. H. Finlayson, C. Robertson, A. J. Graham, O’Connor, E. H. Ward; representative to W.R.F.U., E : . fr. Ward; selection committee, Messrs IV. Olson, Robertson, and O'Connor. Some 34 teams in all were entered; for the competitions this year, easily passing last year’s record number of 23 teams. The prospects for a busy and successful season are, therefore, good. The annual tournament takes place at Wanganui this year. Arrangements were made by the management committee on Tuesday for preliminary games (two spells of 20 minutes; for purposes of grading the teams, to be played on Friday, April 29th, at Wakefield Park as follows: At 2.45 the following:— E. Hutt v. Normal. Petone W. v. Newtown. Petono D.H.S. v. Lyall Bay, Clyde quay v. Te Aro. Hutt D.H.S. v. Kilbirnle. At 3.30 the following:— Terrace v. South Wellington. Brooklyn v. Mount Cook. Marist v. Berhampore. Island Bay r. Karori. Kelburn A v. Roseneath. f
