HOCKEY
HUTT VALLEY LADIES’ CLUB. The second annual meeting of ihe ladies* branch of the Hutt Valley Hockey Club took place last Wednesday evenimr at the Town Hall building, Mr B. A. Ginger presiding. The assistantsecretary. Miss Warnes, reported that the credit balance of the club for the coming year was ,£7 14s lid, and the membership roll 33. It is the intention of the club to place three teams in the field—a senior and two juniors. Last year tho senior and the juniors did remarkably well, and the latter retained the junior championship cup. Officers elected for the coming year were:—President. Mr H. W. Baldwin; vice-presidents. Meednmes J. Eddie. 11. Harman, Donkin, and Cameron, Miss McAlister, Me-ssrs W. T. Strand, A. WWest, J. Campbell, Rev. 3Jr anrl Dr Dudley; hon. secretary and treasurer, Miss D. Hurrell; club captain, Miss M. Cunningham; members of committee. Misses M. Baumber. Low<\ Anstis, and Davidson: delegates to the Hookey Association. Misses Cunningham and Davidson ; auditor, Mr A. Smith: ooncli for the senior team, Mr B. A. Ginger; coach for tho juniors, Mr G. Lusty. j
