MILK VENDORS’ PICNIC
AN ENJOYABLE DAY. The combined company of Qity milk vendors held their annual picnic at Ala id stone Park, Upper Hutt, yesterday in fine weather. The company left. Wellington in the morning at 0 o’clock, ami returned at 6.40 in the evening. There were about three hundred present, and a most enjoyable clay was spent. A programme of sport©, for which prizes were pre-sente-d, had been arranged, there being some twenty- events. Air H. A. Ward, manager of the city milk department, and. several members of the staff were present.
