CHARGED WITH MURDER
HUSBAND AND HOMOEDPATHIST. , An inquest into the death of Mrs Elsie Neenah. Berg, aged 26, ■which took place at the consulting-room of George Gunter, homoeopathi&t, was held at the City Coroner's Court in Sydney. Royal Vivian Thomas Berg, husband of deceased, and George Gunter, were in court. They were both on remand from the Central Police Court, charged with the murder of Mrs Berg. Dr Andrew Norrio stated that on February Ist ho visited the promises at Moffitt Chambers, ERizabeth street, in response to a call by Gunter, and found deceased on a couch. Sergeant Russell produced a number of Instruments found au the premises occupied bv Gunter. Constable Mcßao stated that when or. resting Gunter he told him that a postmortem examination had been held on the bodv of the woman, and it had been found that she Had Hied of illegal interference. To this Gunter replied: "That is impossible. She died of heart failure.' 1 The Coroner found that Mrs Berg died as the result of a mechanical operation performed by Gunter, and assisted by the woman's husband. He. therefore, relumed a verdict of murder aeainst Roth Gunter and Berg, and committed them for trial.
