WOOLLEN AND WORSTED MILLS ON CO-OPERATIVE LINES. A SYDNEY IDEA. Ry Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright SYDNEY, March 11. The proposal based on a Guild of Socialism has advanced a further stage. Tho idea is to establish woollen and worsted mills on the site of the Parramatta gaol, to be conducted by members of the Textile Workers’ Union on co-operative lilies, and directly dealing with the consumer. The union is endeavouring to raise £-200,000, and haa approached the Government for twelve months’ option over the property.
