ROW IN A COOKHOUSE
TROUBLE AT WATROA. r«a rar«s association. WAIROA, March 16. The Police Court this morning investigated the case against Harold Hart—a charge of assault and actual bodily harm. Sergeant Wade asked For a remand to the 23rd inst., and this was granted, bail being allowed, self in £1 (X) and two sureties of £IOO. It appears that tho accused, with two others, went to the freezing work’s cookhouse after hours ami demanded a meal. A row ensued into which au auomatic pistol was alleged to .have been introduced bv llart. two shots being fired. A man named Beveridge, it is said, receiver! one of the bullets in hi* foot, necessitating his removal to tho hospital.
