THE GISBORNE SESSIONS. r*« r-R««S ASSOCIATTOV. GISBORNE, March 16. For assaulting Oscar Ranum at Ruatorea, a native named Nukunuku was sentenced at the Supreme Court to six months* gaol, and another native, Tipane, to eighteen months. Two natives, Kahoukoua and Henare Monika, were acquitted on a charge of theft of a portmanteau and valuables. In the Divorce Court, decrees nisi were granted in the following cases: — Gertrude Curtis v. Percival Herbert Curtis, desertion; Edith Rayne Eileen Me Indoe v. Percy Mclndoe, desertion; and Francis Leonard McMahon r. Nestor Lilian McMahon, desertion.
