HUIA HOCKEY CLUB

ANNUAL, MEETING. The above club held its annual meeting in the Y.M.C.A. rooms on Tuesday even ing. Mr JL. $. I*. Butcher presided over a lull attendance of members. The report and balance-sheet was read and adopted. The club was shown to be in a sound financial condition. The 19£u season was a very good one tor the Huia Club. Two teams wearing the Hum colours in place of one for the previou© year, and though neither ieapi succeeded in winning the championship the junior team were runners up to the winners of the junior championship. The club played several games away during the season, and created a favourable impression wherever they went. It was decided to enter three teams for the 1921 season, if sufficient players were offering. Several new members were elected. Ihe following officers were elected:— President, Mr S. G. Nathan vice-presi-dents, Messrs C. E. Finch, C. Bodmin, A. M. Lewis, H. S. Harman, Hr Pattie. J. C. Cusack, (A* Vfhithaker, Hi. \V. Littlejohn, I. C. Littlejohn, J. L. McAlister, H. B.* Roberts; club captain, Mr L. S. P. Butcher; delegates to Wellington Hockey Association, Messrs L. S. P. Butcher, W. Keys, and R. B. Adams; hon. secretary, Mr O. Hailwood; hon. treasurer, Mr W. Carter. A vote of thanks was passed to the following for donations to the club funds*.— Messrs S. O. Nathan, C. E. Finch, A. M. Lewis, C. Bodmin, Hr Pattie, and H. S. Hayman.
