WESLEY HOCKEY CLUB
ANNUAL MEETING. The annual general meeting of the Wesley Hockey Club was held this week. Mr J. E. Garrard presided over a large attendance of members. The annual report for the 1920 season showed the club to be in a very healthy condition. Three teams had played in the junior competition with remarkable success, the “A” team winning the cup after an unbroken series of victories. Five members of the club had been chosen for the junior representative team, including an emergency. During the season a team was sent to play Christchurch Y.M.C.A, and. a return match arranged in this city. The club has received a remarkable impetus this season, and has every prospect of entering five teams, including one eenior team, ‘which will mean that Wesley will be one of the strongest and largest hockey clubs in Wellington. It is hoped that in addition to the above the club will undertake t.he adoption of a team for the school competition. The election of officers for the year resulted as follows :—President. Rev. H.
