OMAKA WRECK
ANOTHER BODY FOUND. IDENTIFIED AS ACTING-MATE’S. A third body from the wreck of the auxiliary schooner Omaka, lost at the Wellington Heads on Sunday, January 30th, was found on the foreshore at Eastbourne yesterday. The remains were identified last evening as those of Wijliain l«eoxiard Watson, the actingmate. There was no clothing on the body beyond a singlet. Constable -Thompson, of Day’s Bay, brought the body hi the morgue last evening. Watson was a young Englishman, who had fome years* experience on the British coast in small sailing vessefe. He came out to New Zealand some eight years ago, and had no relations in the Dominion. He was a comrade of Stapleton’s (an A.B. on the vessel), and. when ashore resided with him. The other two bodies previously found were those of J. T. Weekes. the engineer, and W. Marlow, the cook.
