IDLE FISHERMEN
STRIKE COMMENCES AT GRIMSBY. An**ralian aid N.Z. C-Hlp 4 -'soem! ion. (Received January 30, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, January 29. The Grimsby fishermen’s strike commenced at midnight on Friday. Fifty boats sailed from the fishing grounds on Friday before the strike and a small number on Saturday despite pickets. The strike is against a reduction of 40 per cent, in wages announced by the fishermen's employers.
