COLONEL CAMPBELL DECLINES VACANT POST. Colonel G. F. C. Campbell (Secretary to the Treasury), who was offered by the Government the post of Public TVuctee, cannot, it is understood on high authority, see his way to accept the position. Questioned by a “Times” representative as to who is to be the new. Public Trustee, Mr Massey stated- that Cabinet has not yet decided, the matter.
