TWENTY-fWO MILLIONS TN SIG-BT. Br Teleßraph—Press Assn.—Copyright MELBOURNE, September 7. The subscriptions to the Federal Peace Loan jumped to fifteen millions on Monday. The figures are incomplete. Victoria is leading and tlie subscriptions yesterday were two millions, bringing the total for thi> State to six and a-half millions. New South Wales is four millions short of its quota. (Received September 7, 9.45 p.m.) MELBOURNE, September 7. In the Hou3o> of Representatives. Sir Joseph Cook stated that twentytwo millions was in k sight for Eno Peace Loan. He hoped in a day or two to be ablo to announce that the full amount had been eubscribed.
