TWENTY-FOUR, MILLIONS INCREASE.
• The Prime Minister has stated that 90 specially-selected emergency valuers. were being appointed to assist the department. The Commissioner of Taxes had been furnished with revised valuations of unimproved land in the Dominion, which represented an increase of £24,104,681, which would bo available for taxation in the current year.
