Smith, Inman, Stevenson, Reece, Falkner, Newman, Lawxenqp, and Tothill, have entered for tho billiards championship. Inman has not played in a previous championship contest, as ho has objected to tho rule that the holder must play through the tournament. SYDNEY, September 4. Hooper (Now South Wales) heat Luft (Victoria) by 3000 to 1527 for tho amateur billiard championship of Australia. •
