' The late Dr Rutherford Harris frss 64 years of age. After- graduating a» the Royal College or Surgeons he went to South Africa in- 1682 and became "Mr Rhodes's confidential agent and was prominent in politics in Cape Colony. He was also a member of t" j House of Commons for some years.
