QUESTIONS IN THE HOUSE
! WHEN TO BE DISCUSSED? In the House of Representatives yesterday afternoon, Mr J. Craigie (Timaru) asked the Prime Minister when he meant to give the House an opportunity of discussing *the answers to questions on the Order, .Paper. Already, ho pointed out, two seta of questions had accumulated. Mr Maasey said that he was sorry that he. was not'able to give that afternoon for the purpose. There was more urgent business to be dealt with. But if nothing came in the way he would be very glad indeed to give. the House a couple of hours next Wednesday afternoon. (.Laughter.) Wednesday afternoon, of course, is the regular time for such discussion, and by I Wednesday nest a third week's questions and answere will bo piled up.
