LEAGUE FOOTBALL
MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE MEETS. Tile management committee of the Wellington Rugby League met last evening, Mr F. C. Evans presiding. The Canterbury match, originally. set down for decision on July 24th, was altered to July 31st, on account of the. Basin Reserve being engaged. Mr J. Goqdall was nominated as referee for the England v. Now Zealand game on August 13th. Tho New Zealand council wrote stating that Mr I. Culpan, advance manager for the English tour, would be in Wellington on July 22nd, end ho would make all arrangements for the game. Fixtures arranged for last Saturday and postponed on account of rain, will be played next Saturday.
