TYPOGRAPHICAL UNION
RELIEF FOR AUSTRALIAN COMRADES. A special meo ting of the Wellington Typographical C 'moil was held on Saturday evening to consider a recommendation from the hoard of management; “That the sura cf £IOO be voted to tho Victorian typographers now on strike, and that a levy of 2s Gd per member per week for four weeks, or more, bo voted to relievo their distress.” Jho recommendation was carried unanimously and a ballot is to bo taken. During the evening presentations were, made to Air A. D. Robbie and Air T. Sheer in for - their services on the executive of the New Zealand Federated Typographic:!,! Association. The report of that association was aisc received.
