In addition to these advances, an amount of £15,125 bad heel authorised to settlers for tho purpose of re(pairing mortgages on house properU Applications, amounting to £206,000, had been received the State Advances Department 'ro-n 37 local bodies throughout the Dominion under the Housing Act, 1919, and these implications wero now being deal* with.
