BOWLING MATCHES
NEWTOWN CLUB t. KAR.ORI. The Newtown Bowling, Club is to play a friendly match against Karori tomorrow, and the following teams have been chosen; — Home: J. Martin, E. Read, W. Read, J. Sexton (s). Trevor, Pennington, W. J. Robbins, Noble. (s). . Away: Castle, Thompson, Popple, Russell (s). Salmon, W. Roberts, F. Robbins, Grenside (s). On Saturday, tho X7th, the directors of the Newtown Club have arranged to play a match, Past versus Present Members. Mr G. Hendry has the arranging of the “past” members, and will bo pleased to hear as soon as possible from old Nowtown members who wish to take part in tho game as guests of their old club. The following will represent Lya.ll Bay in a friendly match with Kelbum to-morrow: —Away : Fairway, Mackenzie, Haslam, Johnstone; Martin, Gasquoine, Gemmell, Shepherd; Clater, Purchas, Cluten, Stanford. Homo: Dillon, Pears, Olaughton, Kirk; Salt, Whitehead, Drew, Hazelwood;' Haokworth, Newton, Moran, Toomer.
