Yesterday was a slack day at the Magistrate’s Court. Mr P. L. |lollings, S.M., presided, nod dealt with one judgment summons, ordering HBates to pay A Cotton £l6 14s 9d by May Pth, in default a week’s imprisonment. • The Public Trustee obtained judgment against George J. Beard by default for £0 with £1 3a costs.^
