Ss A DAY RISE ASKED. The various brandies of the Police Association have decided to aglc the Minister for Police, the Right Hon. W. F. Massey, to place before CaWk net a proposal that the present rates of pay should bo increased (Gls per day, and that the uniform and boot allowance should be increased from £5 to £lO per annum. It is understood that, should Cabinet decide ’that the members of the Force arc entitled to a further increase in pay, such increment will be as from April Ist, 1920.
