RAILWAY DISCONTENT

PREMIER. TO MEET MEN’S REPRESENTATIVES. The Rt. Hon. W. F. Massey (Prime, Minister and Minister for Railways) announced yesterday that ho will receive the executives of the three railway societies —the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants, the Locomotive Engine-drivers’, Firemen,, and Gleaners' Association, and ,the Railway Officers’ Institute —on Monday, Wednesday, and Tuesday of next week, to discuss with them the discontent at present prevailing in the railway service. .

The Prime Minister is to meet first the executive of the A.S.R.S. on Monday next.
