U.S. NAVAL SCANDALS
CHARGE BY ADMIRAL SIMS. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. "WASHINGTON, March 22. Admiral Sims, giving evidence before the Naval Investigation Committee named Rear-Admiral Benson as the author of tho celebrated admonition : "Do not allow the British to pull the wool over your eyes. We would as soon fight the British as the Germans."
Admiral Sims said that, owing to Benson's notorious anti-British, attitude, ho did not pay particular attention to liis Admiral Benson's influence throughout the navy ■was, however, considerable.
